President Truman was lauded for his position on Israel at the closing session of the ninth annual convention of the Junior Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America here last night.
The convention resolved to double its membership, bringing it to a total of 20,000 during the coming year. A record budget of $95,000 for 1949 was also voted. Miss Gwendolyn Goldstein was elected president of the organization, succeeding Miss Frieda Chesir.
