Louis L. Kahn has been appointed by Governor Roosevelt as a judge of the City Court of New York City to fill the place left vacant by the elevation of Bernard L. Shientag to the Supreme Court. Mr. Kahn was elected two weeks ago to complete the five years remaining of Justice Shientag’s term and this appointment by the Governor is only for the balance of this year.
