A meeting between King Hussein of the Hedjaz and his two sons, King Feisul of Mesopotamia and Emir Abdullah, the Transjordanian ruler, is to be held shortly at Abdullah’s headquarters, according to a report current here.
King Feisul, it is said, is proceeding to Transjordania this week to discuss with his brother in advance the new situation arising out of the British Treaty with Iraque.
King Hussein, it is stated further, may come to London in order to personally conclude arrangements in connection with the treaty which he hopes will lead to the establishment of an Arab Confederation.
Simultaneously the EL KARMEL, an Arab daily in Haifa, says it learns Hussein intends calling to Mecca the Arab leaders of Syria, Palestine, Iraque, Transjordania and Hedjas to consider the terms of the British Treaty. The paper adds Hussein considers that Palestine and Syria cannot be excluded from the terms of the British treaty, nor from the formation of an Arab Confederation.
