Labor Party front-runner Amram Mitzna said he would immediately dismantle all Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip if elected prime minister. In an interview with the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, Haifa Mayor Amram Mitzna also said he would resume talks with the Palestinians without condition, and would withdraw from most of the West Bank within a year of taking office.
