Last of Jewish Prisoners Held by Transjordan Repatriated; Exchange with Egypt to Begin

The return of Israeli prisoners held by the Arab Legion was completed today when the last group of 203 arrived at Jerusalem. Repatriation of Transjordan prisoners taken by Israeli forces continues.

The Egyptian-Israeli armistice commission, which has its headquarters at Auja el Hafir, in the Negev, today set up a sub-commission to arrange for the exchange of Israeli and Egyptian prisoners of war. The exchange is expected to commence Monday.
