The International Federation of League of Nations Societies today asked the League Assembly to act on the resolution of its congress in Copenhagen last July calling for the convoking of an international conference to solve the Jewish problem in Europe.
All governments “willing to collaborate” in solving the Jewish problem, and also the Jewish Agency, would be invited to the conference, the purpose of which would be “to give overpopulated countries the necessary assistance to develop their territories and so support a larger population,” to help the Jews develop a national home in Palestine and to promote immigration of some of them to other countries where there is room for increased population.
