The Liberal Jewish group, polling a majority of the 3,582 votes cast in the elections for the Berlin Jewish Community Council, won 14 seats in the council. The National Jewish group, which received 1,451 votes, lost two seats in the council and will be represented by nine councilmen in the new body.
