Mendel N. Fisher was honored this weekend, in a special resolution, for the completion of 25 years of service in the office of executive director of the Jewish Rational Fund of America. The resolution was introduced by the president, Dr. Harris J. Levine, and was unanimously adopted by the board of directors of the JNF.
The resolution lauds Mr. Fisher for “the exceptional ability and consecrated devotion with which he has pursued his high task over this long period of years, winning great multitudes d friends for our work and contributing vastly to the growth and expansion of JNF activities in hundres of Jewish communities throughout the length and breadth of this country.” It expresses to Mr. Fisher “the deepest gratitude for a superlative job done in the face of great and mounting difficulties.”
