Installation of officers of the Men’s Club of Congregation Mt. Sinia Anshe Emeth, West 178th street and Wadsworth avenue, will be held Sunday night at the Synagogue, it was announced yesterday. The ceremony marks the opening event of a specially prepared Silver Jubilee Year program, celebrating the temple’s twenty-fifth year in Washington Heights.
Louis J. Moss, president of the United Synagogues of America and Canada; Rabbi Samuel Cohen, executive director of the United Synagogue, and Theodore Charnas, president of the National Federation of Men’s Clubs of the United States and Canada, will be among the notables attending Sunday’s event.
Officers to be installed are:
Isidore B. Rosman, president; Daniel I. Reiter, vice-president; Sam Isaacs, secretary; Ike Solomon, treasurer; Henry Freeman, sergeant-at-arms; Trustees: Irving Annish, Joseph J. Goldsmith, David Levy, Sol Manheimer, and Irving Thaler.
