The board of directors of the Milwaukee Jewish Welfare Fund, acting upon a recommendation of the executive committee, granted the retirement request made by Elkan C. Voorsanger, executive director of the Welfare Fund. Effective date of the retirement has been set as of June 30, which means that Mr. Voorsanger will continue in his familiar capacity during the 1955 campaign.
Mr. Voorsanger, 66, has completed 16 years of service in the Milwaukee community, during which time he was an instrumental factor in organizing the annual campaigns and in communal activities touched by the Welfare Fund. His retirement carries with it an annual pension.
