The proposed shipment of arms by the United States to Iraq and Sandi Arabia was sharply attacked here today as an “unthinking disservice to American foreign policy objectives in the Middle East,” by 300 delegates at the Eastern Seaboard Conference of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America.
In a resolution, the representatives of some 25,000 members of the organization in the seaboard region, declared that the U.S., as well as Israel, would suffer from the intensification of tension and instability which would follow the shipment of American arms to the Arab states.
