Commenting on the vilification of the Jews published by the Semaine Religieuse of Quebec, Lucien Pariseau, assistant editor of L’Ordre here, which has been friendly to Jews, writes in that newspaper:
“No one disputes the fact that the Jew is the bearer… of an invisible microbe of destruction.”
This, however, is not altogether the fault of Jewry, Pariseau insists, blaming medieval persecutions “which have implanted in the Jew a hatred of the higher and organized society.”
