Most Israeli youths write English e-mails, but relatively few have a book in English, a survey found. According to researchers at Helen Doron, a Tel Aviv firm specializing in language studies, 52 percent of Israeli youths regularly use English for Internet communication. But 40 percent of youths have never read an English book or seen an English-language film without Hebrew subtitles, the company said Thursday.
