A national center for higher Jewish studies was established here today by members of the faculty of the universities of Brussels, Ghent, Liege, the Higher Institute for Commerce in Mons and the Agricultural Institute of Gemblouf.
The administrative committee, to be headed by Dr. Max Gottschalk, will prepare a program and the scientific direction of the center will be under the supervision of a special council which will be composed of both Jewish and non-Jewish scientific and educational personalities.
