Nazi concentration camp guard John Demjanjuk made a rare public appearance. Demjanjuk appeared in a court in Cleveland on Monday as his lawyer argued for a delay in the U.S. government’s ongoing efforts to deport him. The judge set the next hearing on his deportation for June 30. Demjanjuk served as an SS guard at the Sobibor, Majdanek and Flossenburg camps during World War II.
