Philadelphia’s Jewish medical center being created by the consolidation of the Jewish, Mount Sinai and Northern Liberties Hospitals will be known as the “Albert Einstein Medical Center,” it was announced today.
The center will provide medical care, research and education to the people of Philadelphia without distinction of race or creed. A campaign is now being conducted jointly by the Medical Center Building Fund and the Allied Jewish Appeal to help complete a $5,000,000 fund for new buildings and equipment to be added to the existing facilities of the three hospitals.
