Rabbi S. Felix Mendelsohn, spiritual leader of the Temple Beth Israel of Albany park, has contributed two articles to the new Encyclopedia of Jewish Knowledge, just published. The articles deal with the history of the Jews in Chicago and Illinois.

The official endorsement of the University of Illinois again has been extended to the People’s Junior College, conducted by the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago.

Dr. Julius L. Siegel of the Humboldt Boulevard Temple has been appointed Chicago representative of the Jewish Welfare Board. Dr. Siegal is in charge of the J.W.B. unit at the Edward Hines Junior Hospital.

New officers of the All-Chicago Council of Jewish Young People were installed last night by Rabbi Morris Teller. Nathan T. Rosenberg is the new president; Esther Brill and Meyer Shapiro, vice-presidents; Adeline Levy, Ann Rosenberg and Annette Ornstein, secretaries, and Sylvia Goldsmith, treasurer.
