The “Doar Ha’yom,” Jerusalem Hebrew daily, announced today that it has reduced its prices from ten mils to half a piastre a copy.
The paper will maintain its present size, the announcement declares.
The step is considered here as revolutionizing the standards of the Palestine press.
Dedication of the new temple of Congregation Talmud Torah of Lefferts Park, Brooklyn. N. Y. was held on Sunday.
The new temple has an auditorium with a balcony, seating 1,000 persons on the first floor. In the basement there is another auditorium seating 600 and three classrooms for the Talmud Torah. There are at present about 100 children registered in the school. Simon Ginsberg is President of the Congregation.
