Palestine has an urban population of 387,525 and a rural population of 647,629, according to further figures made known to-day on the basis of the recent Palestine census.
The population of Jerusalem has increased to 90,526 from 62,678 in the last census; that of Jaffa has increased to 51,876 from 47,709, and Haifa has more than doubled its population, from 24,634 to 50,889.
