Mr. David Yellin, President of the Vaad Leumi, the communal organization of the Jews in Palestine, has left today for London, where he will participate in the meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee. Mr. Yellin will present to the meeting a number of demands on behalf of the Palestinian Jewry. Among them are:
1, the restoration of the right of the Vaad Leumi to be represented on the Zionist Executive;
2, the transfer of the Hebrew educational system, now maintained by the Zionist Organization in Palestine, to the Vaad Leumi, on condition that the Zionist Executive provides the necessary budget;
3, the granting of communal autonomy to the Jewish colonies and towns in Palestine, including the right to impose taxes. This demand has the approval of the High Commissioner, Sir Herbert Samuel.
