Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat is planning to meet soon with the leaders of two Syria-based groups opposed to his peace accords with Israel. The meeting, which a Palestinian official said could be held in Cairo later this month, came in the wake of reports that Syrian President Hafez Assad wants to limit the activities of all Damascus-based groups that reject the Mideast peace process.
