“The People Above Any One Party,” is the slogan with which the World Union of General Zionists under the leadership of Dr. Schwartzbard, will come to the Zionist Congress in Lucerne on August 20, it was announced here today.
In a manifesto issued by the Union, it was declared that labor and capital must dedicate themselves to the eradication of class warfare from the life of Palestine.
“The sharpened relations between capital and labor,” the manifesto says, “are threatening the existence of the Jewish settlement in the Homeland.”
The manifesto calls for the harmonious cooperation of all creative forces in Palestine, declaring this to be the prime requisite in the face of the tremendous tasks which now confront the Zionist world.
