More than one hundred delegates to the grand council convention of Pi Upsilon Phi, national Jewish high school fraternity, closed their twelfth annual conclave with a banquet last night at the Hotel Syracuse.
I. Irving Wittes of Elizabeth, N. J., was principal speaker at the dinner. Representatives of the twelve chapters throughout the country heard him laud the fraternity for its work. Guests of honor were the new grand council officers, including Milton Solomon of the Bronx, Jack Z. Gold of Elizabeth, Jules E. Gabriel of Syracuse, Harry Bleiberg of Newark and Milton Ginsburg of Elizabeth.
