Funds to construct a Jewish ambulance in Palestine will be sent by the Pioneer Women’s Organization of America under a resolution adopted at its two-day annual conference at the Claridge Hotel. The first $1,000 for this fund were raised among the 150 delegates at the conference.

Other resolutions adopted provide for the raising of $20,000 for the Moazoth Hapoaloth, women’s labor organization in Palestine, and for the Jewish National Fund and other institutions engaged in the Palestine upbuilding work. Principal speakers at the conference included Israel Mereminsky, Dr. May Bere, Sara Feder, Mrs. Israel Goldstein, Sara Kahn and Bettie Blaufarb.
