The Palestine Emigration Office here is informed from Jerusalem that in the course of the last year the largest number of immigrants arriving in Palestine come from Poland. Of the total number of 15,475 immigrants who arrived in the country during the first half-year of 1934, 5,035 came from Poland. The number is expected to increase in the second half-year, and it is believed that in the course of the whole of the present year there will be about 19,000 immigrants arriving in Palestine from Poland.
