Reports that the government of Portugal was favorably disposed towards a scheme to settle five millions Jews in Angola, Portuguese West Africa, were denied here today by the Ministry of Colonies.
The government of Portugal will never consider such a suggestion for mass settlement, it was officially stated, although it will allow every facility for individual immigration in Angola and other colonial possessions.
