President Gran San Martin received a Jewish delegation visiting him to protest against anti-Jewish agitation in Cuba. He assured the delegation of the government’s friendliness to the Jews and acknowledged the usefulness of the Jewish population to Cuba.
They rebelled again. The war continued for them till 1921. Their country was ceaselessly ravaged. But their spirit was never crushed.
