President Juan Carlos Ongania of Argentina delivered greetings to the nation’s Jewish community in a Rosh Hashanah-Yom Kippur message to the DAIA, the central body of Argentine Jews.
He also expressed satisfaction that “new generations of Israelites, while continuing to be closely linked with their community, have become integrated in Argentine society and are partaking of our customs and traditions as well as our problems and aspirations for advancement.”
