Forman Jacques, anti-Semitic member of the Federal Parliament, has asked the Canadian Government to consider the advisability of banning the solicitation of funds in Canada for the purpose of “supplying Zionists in Palestine with arms and ammunition.”
Jacques said he raised this question in view “of the latest, cold-blooded murder” of British troops in Palestine. Minister for External Affairs St. Laurent told him he would study the question and reply to it shortly.
