There is no difference between Christian and Jewish and Mohammedan women. From a psychological point of view they are all alike, said Dr. A. A. Brill, psychiatrist, physician and author, speaking at a meeting of the B’nai Jeshurun Sisterhood.
In his lecture, “Psychoanalyzing the Jewish Woman,” Dr. Brill said, “any woman who does not bear children eventually becomes neurotic and unhappy.” He said it’s the natural function of womankind to fulfill this duty.
The speaker also declared that “any woman who doesn’t try to look attractive is either fit for the asylum or should curl up and die.”
Mrs. Walter C. Hurwitz, president of the Sisterhood intruduced Dr. Brill.
