A unique midweek religious service was held last night at the reform Temple Beth Israel of this city, in which rabbis of all factions of Judaism participated.
Rabbi de Sola Pool of New York City represented the orthodox group; Professor Abraham Cronbach of Cincinnati appeared for the reform element; and Rabbi B. Leon Hurwitz of Brooklyn, New York, represented the conservative wing. Rabbi Maurice Goldblatt of Roanoke officiated at the services.
Professors Horace Kallen and B. Z. Lindfield as well as a host of prominent Gentile speakers were present at the sessions of the Institute of Public Affairs.
