The Nuremberg laws for the “protection of German blood and honor,” directed primarily against Jews, were today applied against two full-blooded “Aryans” for maintaining relations with a nineteen-year-old Jewish girl.
A Magdeburg court meted out sentences of seventeen and twelve months, respectively, to the pair and also deprived them of all civil rights for a period of three years.
The court’s ruling was accompanied by the explanation that the defendants had persisted in their relations with the Jewess despite “Nazi activities for enlightening the German people.”
