Palestine exported to Germany £373,749 worth of goods, mostly oranges in 1934, while Germany sent goods to Palestine during the same period amounting to £1,193,313,the Frankfurter Zeitung declared today.
According to the newspaper, German goods sent to Palestine consisted mostly of metal goods, machinery, electro-technical equipment, textiles, chemicals, porcelain and glass goods. The difference between Palestine exports and imports, the paper declared, was adjusted through the introduction of large amounts of German capital into the Holy Land.
