Israel’s cost-of-living index rose by a relatively low 0.7 percent in June, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced Sunday. That was down from a 1.5 percent rise in May and a 2.5 percent hike in April.
The news gave economists hopes that inflation could be kept to below 20 percent this year.
