The Rumanian Government today appealed over the Bucharest radio to demobilized pharmacists to apply for positions as state commissioners over pharmacies confiscated from Jews.
The ousting of Jews from most businesses and professions in Rumania has left the authorities with many specialized enterprises on their hands and no qualified persons available to run them.
The Rumanian broadcast also reported that the Ministry of Propaganda has announced that the decree providing for the withdrawal from sale of all recordings made by Jewish performers or of compositions by Jewish composers is now in effect. Any shopkeeper selling such records will have his stock confiscated under the provisions of the order.
