Increased worldwide persecution of the Jews is predicted by the London Express in connection with the victory of Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitic National Socialists in Germany’s Reichstag elections. Summarizing the present growth of anti-Semitism in Germany, Russia, Poland, Hungary and Roumania, the Express concludes that the dramatic results of the German elections justify anxiety.
The Express points out that the Jews of Germany may suffer physically and politically while the developments in Germany will arouse world-wide intensification of Jewish hatred. Reviewing the growth of anti-Semitism, in the above-mentioned five countries, the Express adds that anti-Semitism has also grown of recent years in the United States, manifesting three varied forms.
