Some 40 percent of Jews in Israel intend to go to synagogue on the High Holidays, according to a survey. But the survey by the Israeli Reform Movement’s Center for Jewish Pluralism says 22 percent of those interviewed said they would go to a synagogue on only one of the two holidays, and 37 percent said they would not go to synagogue at all on Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur.
