The entire Soviet press is running special articles to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of Prof. Albert Einstein’s relativity theory.
Pointing out that Einstein’s article “Relativity — Special and General Theory,” which first appeared in a German-language scientific publication in 1905, was one of the greatest contributions to the scientific knowledge of humanity, the papers strongly emphasize the barbarity of the Nazis in Germany who drove Einstein into exile.
The papers also point out the fact that Einstein encountered numerous material difficulties as a student and scientist, and that he suffered considerably before he achieved world-wide recognition for his work.
