A rally of teachers of the New York public and high schools will be held this afternoon at the Hotel Commodore in the interest of the Greater New York campaign of the United Jewish Appeal. An educator’s division will be organized so that the teaching profession will contribute its share of the $1,250,000 which is being sought in the metropolitan area as Greater New York’s quota of the national fund of $3,250,000.
Dr. Kurt Rosenfeld, former Minister of Justice in Prussia, will be among the speakers. Jacob Greenberg, Edward Mandel and Benjamin Veit are heading the educator’s division, which will seek at least $25,000.
