The Anti-Defamation League urged the head of the Russian Orthodox Church to stop the distribution of anti-Semitic material in churches. Last week’s letter to Patriarch Alexey II noted the involvement of some local church officials in publishing and distributing anti-Jewish materials such as the anti-Semitic tract “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”
