The Israeli government is religiously forbidden to evacuate settlement outposts in the West Bank, a group of rabbis said. A statement issued Monday by the group, which opposes the “road map” peace plan, said, “No government has any right or mandate to decree the establishment of any foreign state or to give over any part of the State of Israel to foreigners.”
