The state competitions for the Bernard B. Given Oratorical contest will be held at Syracuse, May 14, under the auspices of the New York state Federation of Y. M. and Y. W. H. A.s, Jewish Community Centers and kindred organizations.
The Bernard B. Given Oratorical contest prizes which are donated by Mr. Given of Syracuse, is open to members of the Jewish Community Centers between the ages of 18 and 25. The boy and girl winner in the state contest will each be awarded silver loving cups for one year, and will be eligible to compete in the national finals at Albany, on Decoration Day, May 30.
