The UJA-Federation of New York joined U.S. lawmakers to urge passage of the Elder Justice Act. Monday’s event in Washington, sponsored by the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and featuring Sens. John Breaux (D-La.) and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), called for passage of the bill, which would help protect seniors from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
