The United States called on the Palestinian Authority for a “clear and unambiguous” condemnation of the attack on a school bus in the Gaza Strip that killed two Israeli teachers and wounded nine children. “As long as the violence continues,” said national security spokesman P.J. Crowley, “we have greater concern that this could spiral out of control.”
