Every tobacco seller or shopkeeper having a tobacco-sales license will be compelled to produce a passport when seeking a license renewal from the Health department of the Palestine government, Doar Hayom, Hebrew daily, reported. This is part of the campaing to determine the illegal residents of Palestine. However the paper points out that most of those who sell tobacco and cigarettes are either native-born are arrived here many years ago.
