Mark Turkow, noted editor, has been appointed the World Jewish Congress representative in Argentina, it was announced by Abraham S. Hyman, administrative director of the WJC. In addition to representing the Congress, he will edit a quarterly in Spanish for the WJC for distribution in Latin America.
Mr. Turkow will coordinate his activities with the DAIA, representative body of Argentine Jewry, which is affiliated with the World Jewish Congress. He formerly served as the HIAS representative in Argentina and is the editor of a Buenos Aires publishing firm.
