A two-day “Conference on Modern Middle East Studies” will be held at the Dropsie College tomorrow and Tuesday, by Dropsie’s newly-established Institute for Israel and the Middle East, it was announced by Dr. Abraham A. Neuman, president. Participants will include both Christian and Jewish authorities in this field.
Speakers at the opening session, at which Dr. Neuman will preside, are Harvey P. Hall, editor of the Middle East Journal, Dr. Cyrus H. Gordon, professor of Assyriology and Egyptology at The Dropsie College, and Prof. Edwin Samuel, visiting professor of Middle East Government and Administration at Dropsie.
