Zvi Dinstein, Israel’s Deputy Minister of Defense, today signed a military purchase agreement with the United States, pertaining to the purchase of jet bombers, and met with senior U.S. defense officials. Mr. Dinstein discussed the execution and implementation of the U.S. Israel agreement for the strengthening of the Israel Air Force.
Accompanied by Israeli Ambassador Avraham Harman, Mr. Dinstein met with Deputy Secretary of Defense Cyrus Vance. Together, both also met with Raymond Hare, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs.
