An agreement for six new projects has been signed here by Dr. Lincoln Hale, chief of the United States technical aid mission and Theodore Kollek, director of the Prime Minister’s office. The sic projects are a tourism survey research into cheaper and better housing a study of the feasibility of new mineral production from the Dead Sea development of a metallurgical laboratory at the Technion expansion of the government’s statistical services and establishment by ORT of vocational training centers for immigrant children.
Announcement of the signing of the agreements was made by United States Ambassador Edward B. Lawson in an address to the Acre Rotary Club on tourism and international understanding. The United States Mission and Israel counterpart accounts will finance all six projects, according to the Ambassador’s announcement.
