Renewed efforts to bring about the unification of the two World Confederations of General Zionists will be made next week in Israel, it was announced here today by Dr. Emanuel Neumann, president of one of the competing Confederations, upon his leaving for Jerusalem to attend the plenary sessions of the Jewish Agency executive of which he is a member.
“Such a step,” he declared, “would have an important bearing on the future course of American Zionism and the possibility of closer cooperation among all Zionist groups in the United States. The Jewish Agency plenary sessions will open in Jerusalem on January 21.
